Description
Available Since: 2007
Ingredients
- Phenylalanine
- Helps in the production of melanin by melanocytes and is a precursor for melanin formation
- Tyrosine
- Helps in the production of melanin by melanocytes and is a precursor for melanin formation
- Resveratrol
- Resveratrol is a natural phenol, with marked antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Resveratrol acts in vitiligo through dual mechanisms of action – stimulation of melanin and tyrosinase activity as well as by anti-oxidant activity
- Quercetin
- A member of flavonoids, Quercetin has been evaluated, both in vitro and in vivo, for the treatment of the pigmentary disease. Quercetin is able to protect keratinocytes and melanocytes by the oxidative damage.
- Copper Sulphate
- Copper is a cofactor in melanin production and is useful in the pathway of enzyme Tyrosinase.
- Calcium D Pantothenate
- Helps in the peripheral supply of nutrients
- Folic Acid
- Vitamin B12
- Zinc Sulphate
- Zinc is a potential antiapoptotic agent. Apoptosis of melanocytes may be involved in the pathogenesis of vitiligo. Zinc plays a key role in the process of melanogenesis.
