Glutathione (600 mg vegetarian capsule) along with other nutritional supplementations provided in DigiGlo-S was launched in India for the first time by Newtrimed HealthCare in 2010. US FDA has awarded GRAS certificate to oral Glutathione. It is a master antioxidant which is an immune booster found in our tissues. US studies have shown that at higher concentrations, oral Glutathione supplementation improves skin complexion. The difference in skin tone is due to a coloring pigment called Melanin secreted by Melanocytes found in our skin. There are two types of Melanin - Eumelanin (dark pigment) and Pheomelanin (light pigment). Supplementation of Glutathione reduces Eumelanin and increases Pheomelanin secretion, thus ensuring skin lightening throughout the body. DigiGlo Forte does not contain corticosteroids.
